[firstname] – Happy New Year! As we kick off 2018, I wanted to share how my office is Making Government Work for Sacramento County.

My office does everything we can to help taxpayers cut through bureaucratic red tape. We can help with backlogged veterans' benefits, Social Security and Medicare issues, stalled tax refunds, and more.

In fact, we've now helped more than 9,000 Sacramento County residents and returned more than $4.6 million to local taxpayers. We'd be honored to help you too!

We’re hosting office hours at Sacramento County libraries throughout 2018. We want to be available in more locations so we can more conveniently serve you in your own neighborhood.

Please click here to see the 2018 library office hours schedule.

Our first office hours of 2018 will be on Tuesday, January 16th at the Fair Oaks Library from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon. If you're having a problem with the federal government and need help, please stop by!

As always, if you need help right away, you can call my office at (916) 635-0505 or visit bera.house.gov/gethelp to learn more.

My office is here to serve you any way we can. That's what Making Government Work for Sacramento County is all about.

Please always feel free to contact my office to share your views or ask a question.

Be well,
Ami Bera, M.D.
Member of Congress
